I'm so excited, one of my favorite surf-art brands has opened a store. NEAR MY WORK. Dangerous. Don't worry Jumbo, I will not be shopping any time soon. Sheesh.

But Andy Davis' art and clothing have always been so original and inspiring. I can't get enough. If only I could actually afford a print. I guess a t-shirt is the next best thing :)

Movie of the Week: Mysterious Lady

I loved this movie! It was on Sunday night on TCM's Silent Sunday Nights. Even Mr. Jumbo enjoyed it. He even declared that Greta Garbo was 'pretty hot, for the old days.' Nice.

If you haven't seen this one, its a great little spy romance story. The costumes are awesome, and its a pretty sexy movie for 1928. There is breif nipplage! Which both Jumbo and I paused of course. It wasn't Garbo though, it was the opera singer. I'm surprised that got through FCC! Wouldn't that qualify as 'Fleeting Indecency'? FCC, you r lame.

ANYWAY. If you haven't seen this, check it out. If you don't Tivo Silent Sundays on TCM, I highly reccommend it!

Finally, FINALLY, have gotten around to hanging my paint-by-numbers collection. It only took, oh three weeks. I'm a procrastinator. I'm going for the haphazard hanging style. Also known as, I hate using a level.

This dress is an original 1940s number, from BackinStyle vintage on etsy. I removed the shoulder pads though, otherwise I'd look like a linebacker.

I got some amazing finds from thirteeneightfive vintage. I'm going to post as soon as I find the time. I need another day in the week. Anyway, I have her store set on my rss reader- I literally salivate for her store updates. If you haven't added her store to your bookmarks, do it now!
